Technology entrepreneur Kayode Faturoti has launched Liners Africa, a software review and discovery platform aimed at helping individuals and businesses across the continent evaluate and compare digital tools more effectively.

Faturoti said the idea for the platform was driven by personal challenges in finding reliable, locally relevant software options. “The initial idea came from frustration. Many of the tools being used across African markets were difficult to evaluate because there was no central place to verify information or compare available options,” he said.

Founded in 2026, Liners Africa provides a structured digital directory featuring verified product listings, user feedback, company profiles, and product comparisons.

According to Kayode Faturoti, the platform was built with systems to ensure data accuracy and screen user submissions.

He noted that the platform responds to the rapid growth of Africa’s digital economy, where businesses increasingly depend on software but often rely on informal recommendations. “Businesses across major cities such as Lagos, Nairobi, Accra, Cairo, Kigali, and Cape Town are increasingly dependent on software, yet reliable comparison tools tailored to African users have remained limited,” he said.

Looking ahead, Kayode Faturoti said the platform will focus on expanding its database and improving software categorisation. “We want software decisions to be based on information that is clear and verifiable,” he added.
