Now in its third edition, the expo is regarded as one of Africa’s leading conferences on gaming, lottery and emerging technologies.
The 2026 edition is themed “Africa’s Gaming Market: Frontier to Prominence,” reflecting what organisers describe as the continent’s transition from an emerging frontier to a more structured and investable gaming market.
The event will be hosted by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State, underscoring the state’s positioning as a commercial and technology hub in Africa.
Sanwo-Olu said Lagos was pleased to host the expo as part of its commitment to innovation, responsible regulation and sustainable economic growth.
“AGE provides an important platform for collaboration between governments and industry stakeholders, helping Africa move confidently from frontier status to global prominence in regulated, technology-driven markets,” he said.
Organisers said the expo would feature high-level policy dialogues, regulatory and compliance workshops, technology and fintech exhibitions, investor forums and cross-border partnership sessions.
Key areas of focus include responsible gaming, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CFT) compliance, digital payments, regulatory harmonisation and the application of emerging technologies in gaming and lottery ecosystems.
The event is expected to attract thousands of delegates, including African and international regulators, financial intelligence stakeholders, gaming operators, global suppliers, fintech innovators and institutional investors.
According to the organisers, the 2026 edition aims to strengthen collaboration across jurisdictions and position Lagos as a gateway to Africa’s evolving gaming market.
