Milo, a product of Nestlé Nigeria, has started a 30-day Ramadan gifting campaign across communities in the North to support families during the holy month.

According to a statement by Nestlé Nigeria, the initiative aligned with the values of kindness and unity associated with Ramadan.

The programme will see the distribution of over one million sampled cups of Milo, more than 1,000 cartons of the product, as well as essential Iftar items.

The items include prayer mats, kettles and plastic buckets aimed at supporting households observing the fast.

The campaign is supported  by MILO’s ambassadors, including Ahmed Musa, Mansurah Isah, and Sulaimon Bosho, who have helped amplify its message of unity and generosity.

The Category Manager for Beverages at Nestlé Nigeria, Mr Gilbert Tweneboah-Koduah, said: “Executing this initiative during Ramadan reflects our commitment to deepening our connection with our consumers.

“By providing essential items for Iftar, we are supporting families and aligning our actions with the values of care and compassion.

“The donated items will be handed over to 100 religious and community leaders overseeing mosques with an average of 300 worshipers each, who will coordinate distribution to ensure the support reaches families.”

Chairman, Kano State Hisbah Board,  Sheikh Ibrahim Shehi Mai Hula,  commended the effort. He said: “It’s great to see MILO, a brand we trust, go beyond commercial sales to support those in need during Ramadan.

“Their donation will help us reach more people, and we are grateful for their generosity.”

Beyond the campaign, MILO continues to invest in initiatives such as Milo Building Champs, the Milo Building Champs Sports Fest, and the MILO Basketball Championship, reinforcing its long-term commitment to empowering the next generation and building thriving communities across the country.
