The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Oba Semiudeen Kasali, has sponsored free expert Computer-Based Test (CBT) training for 500 senior secondary students across six public schools as part of his 10th coronation anniversary celebrations.

In a statement on Friday, Adesegun Ogunlewe, the former Lagos State Head of Service and Chairman of the Central Planning Committee for the anniversary, said the programme reflects the monarch’s decade-long commitment to education as the cornerstone of community development.

He said Oba Kasali always emphasises that knowledge is what the palace will continue to contribute to the younger generation.

“Knowledge is the lasting crown we can give our young people,” the monarch said.

He further explained that the initiative aims to equip students with the skills and confidence required to excel in digital learning and examinations.

Ogunlewe noted that the one-day workshop will hold on Tuesday, 7 April 2026, at 10:00 am at HOMAT CBT Center, Igbogbo. Students will receive hands-on CBT practice, exam-strategy coaching, and career guidance to strengthen their JAMB/UTME readiness and digital confidence.

Participating schools include Zumratul Islamiyah Grammar School, Community Secondary School Bayeku, Lagos State Model Girls College Agunfoye, Reri Secondary School Oreta, Oreyo Grammar School, and Civil Service Model College.
