The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), has shifted its Abuja-Kaduna train schedule for Saturday’s Federal Capital Territory Council Elections, moving the early morning departure in Abuja to 7:30 a.m.

The adjustment, according to officials, was introduced to align rail operations with election day movement restrictions in the capital city. However, the afternoon return service from Kaduna will run at the usual 2:30 p.m., meaning only the Abuja departure will be affected.

Rail users have been urged to arrive ahead of time on Saturday to avoid delays that could arise from security checkpoints.

Regular operations on the corridor are expected to resume on Sunday.
