The appointed Supervisory Councillors, Secretary of the Local Government and Special Advisers in the Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA),  Lagos State,  have been sworn in on Friday at the Council's secretariat, Ijaiye-Ojokoro.

The Chairperson of the LCDA t Area, Lagos State, Hon. Oluyemisi Adenike Rosiji, urged the new appointees to be people -centred and united in the discharge of their onerous duties.

She also urged them to extol the virtues of transparency and diligence, while they holds way in their various offices.

Prominent among those who took their oaths of office and were sworn-in amidst pomp and pageantry, following their earlier clearance by the Legislative  Council, were: Secretary to the Local Government, Mrs Florence Campbell Lawal; Supervisory Councilors and Special Advisers: Hon Adeoye, Oluwole Olateju; Prince Lekan Arogundade; Hon. Tolulope Ogedegbe; Mr. Olalekan Ayodeji Bello; Hon Busari; Mr. Tajudeen Adeleke Adefolabi; Mr. Emmanuel Olanrewaju Owolabi; Mrs.Juliana Omolara Ajayi; Mr. Abdulrazaq Kola Amosu ; Mr. Aduragbemi Lanre Olaide and Mr. Alimi Ibrahim Akanji.

Rosiji, who was on the platform of the All Progressives  Congress, APC,  last year, expressed confidence that developmental activities in her LCDA would now begin with a robust push forward,  firm commitment and focus, following the swearing-in of the officials.

  Those who were sworn-in at the historic ceremony were: Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Supervisory Councillors and special advisers.

She charged them to deploy their experience and exhibit teamwork to advance the development of the council area to the delight of the people and humanity in general, in consonance with the APC's manifestos.
