The Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Adebayo Olasoju, has inaugurated members of his cabinet at the council secretariat last Thursday.
Olasoju urged them to see their appointments as a call to service and a responsibility to the people of Isolo.
Presiding over the administration’s first Executive Council meeting on Monday, the council boss assigned portfolios to the appointees, emphasizing the need for diligence, transparency and teamwork in the discharge of their duties.
He charged the cabinet members to key into his administration’s development blueprint, tagged #TowardsTheIsoloOfOurDreams, noting that effective collaboration would be critical to achieving meaningful progress across the council.
Olasoju further stressed the importance of people-oriented policies and programmes, urging the new officials to prioritise initiatives that would directly improve the welfare of residents and drive grassroots development.
The chairman also called for unity of purpose among members of the cabinet, adding that collective effort and shared vision would enhance governance and accelerate the pace of development in Isolo LCDA.
The inauguration was witnessed by Osolo of Isolo, Oba Isa Faronbi-Shekoni, alongside members of the Oba-in-Council, some political figures, members of the legislative arm, as well as top management staff of the council led by the Council Manager, Mr. Rasheed Bada.
Vice Chairman f the council Sadiq Shakir, was handed Supervisor for Budget and Planning, while Musbau Quadri was named Secretary to the Local Government.
Other appointees include Bilikis Agbabiaka-Odunsi as Chief of Staff; Jamiu Omolayo Adetayo - Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure; Olayemi Aloba - Supervisor for Health; Abiola Ibrahim Ayinde-Marshal - Supervisor for Environment; Kehinde Adenusi - Supervisor for Youth and Sports Development, and Kabiru Salau - Supervisor for Education.
In addition, several Special Advisers were appointed to support governance in critical sectors, including political and legislative affairs, women affairs, youth development, ICT, social welfare, ethnic affairs, infrastructure and civic engagement.
