The Osun State Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, has said the ongoing renovation and remodeling works at the Osogbo Township Stadium are important for youth sports development in the state.

Prince Adewusi, who doubles as the Commissioner for Sports, stated this when he conducted an on-site inspection of the sports facility with his entourage.

‎Initiated by Governor Ademola Adeleke and handled by Maxwell Int'l Venture, the Osogbo Township Stadium is undergoing a major remodelling to achieve world-class status.

‎The project features two international-standard football pitches, various sports courts, a hotel, and renovated athlete hostels.

This project is particularly important to the sports development of our youth.  The contractors informed me that they fast-tracked the project according to our timeline.”

‎Arc. John Ewule, the Project Manager, Maxwell Int'l Venture, assured the Deputy Governor of the timely completion of the state-of-the-art project.
