The Lagos chapter of the Planks and Building Materials Market Association has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term and backed Lagos State Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat for governor under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The endorsement was announced on Wednesday during the association’s monthly meeting at its secretariat in Lagos.

Speaking at the meeting, the association’s president and National President of the Planks Sellers Association of Nigeria, Alhaji Adelodun Kayode Lafeef, said members and affiliates across Lagos are aligned with the APC’s leadership and political direction.

He added that members nationwide have been mobilised to support Tinubu’s re-election bid and Hamzat’s governorship ambition.

According to Lafeef, the decision reflects the group’s commitment to continuity and stability, urging members across the country to rally behind the APC in forthcoming elections.

He said the association believes Tinubu’s leadership and Hamzat’s candidacy would further drive development in Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
