“Today, we celebrate those who wear the uniform and risk their lives to keep us safe. Our police officers deserve our gratitude and respect,” he said.

The governor highlighted the critical role of the police in maintaining security nationwide, noting their contributions to protecting lives and property in Katsina State and beyond.

He added that the police have remained instrumental in the state’s security architecture, particularly in tackling rising violence and criminal activities.

“We commend the commitment and bravery of officers working to combat insecurity across the state,” he stated.

Radda urged residents to cooperate with security agencies by providing timely and useful information to aid crime prevention. He stressed the need for stronger collaboration between communities and the police to enhance grassroots security.

The governor also pledged sustained government support for the police in Katsina, assuring that his administration would prioritise improved equipment, enhanced training, and better welfare for officers.

“Our administration is committed to providing whatever support the police need—better equipment, improved training, and enhanced welfare remain our priorities,” he said.
