The Nigeria women's national football team will play two friendly matches against Cape Verde women's national football team in Ikenne on April 15 and 18.

The team is expected to open camp in Abuja on April 11 before moving to Ikenne for the matches.

These games will be their second meetings in recent years. Nigeria defeated Cape Verde during the 2023 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, winning 2–1 away and 5–0 at home.
