President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago on his birthday, praising his commitment to the state’s development.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, yesterday, the President joined the governor’s family, friends and associates in marking the occasion.
Tinubu commended Bago’s leadership in health, education, infrastructure and agriculture, noting that his reforms have strengthened Niger State’s role in Nigeria’s food security drive.

He said the governor’s agricultural initiatives have boosted local production and supported national efforts to reduce food imports.
The President also cited Bago’s background in banking and his experience as a former member of the House of Representatives as assets in governance.
Tinubu wished the governor good health and strength, expressing confidence in continued progress for the state under his leadership.
