PBAT Force, a political support platform, says it has strengthened its influence across grassroots communities in Lagos State through structured mobilisation, policy engagement and community-based initiatives in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term ambition.

The group said its steady expansion across wards and local government areas reflects its transition from a conventional campaign structure into a broader grassroots movement focused on political education, community engagement and sustained civic participation.

As part of its strategy, PBAT Force announced plans to convene a Cohesion Interactive Session to strengthen unity and institutional continuity, and long-term sustainability within the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to the group's Director-General, Prince Wale Oluwa, the initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda and is designed to promote intergenerational dialogue within the ruling party.

Oluwa said the session will bring together veteran political actors and emerging leaders to exchange experience, strategies and institutional knowledge, aiming to strengthen internal cohesion and political continuity.

“This Cohesion Interactive Session marks a significant moment in the evolution of the APC. By sharing knowledge, experiences, and tested political strategies, we aim to ensure the party remains strong, innovative, and sustainable for years to come,” he said.

He added that improved synergy between established and younger politicians would help build a more resilient political structure ahead of future electoral cycles.

In a related development, the group also said arrangements have been concluded for the formal unveiling of its nationwide mobilisation platform aimed at consolidating support for the President’s re-election bid.

Oluwa described the initiative as a unifying platform intended to bridge ethnic, religious and regional divides in national politics.

Political observers note that the timing of the initiatives aligns with increased grassroots mobilisation and internal consultations within the ruling party.

PBAT Force further stated that its activities are anchored on community impact programmes, including interventions in sanitation, employment support, and basic services, alongside skills acquisition and local engagement efforts.

It is also prioritising policy awareness and translation, simplifying federal government policies into relatable terms for traders, artisans, students, and transport operators—bridging the communication gap between governance and everyday life.

Recognising widespread public scepticism, the group is placing strong emphasis on trust-building, committing to consistent engagement beyond election cycles, active listening, and realistic communication with communities.

A significant component of its outreach targets youth and first-time voters, with programmes focused on civic education, voter awareness, and leadership development aimed at strengthening democratic participation.

PBAT Force is equally positioning itself as a feedback bridge to government, systematically gathering grassroots concerns, documenting them, and relaying them to appropriate party and government channels.

To drive these objectives, the group has outlined a broad range of political and community engagements, including town hall meetings, market sensitisation campaigns, and ward-level interactions designed to maintain direct contact with citizens.

Other initiatives include volunteer-led health and sanitation outreach programmes, as well as skills development workshops aimed at building goodwill and practical impact within communities.

On the digital front, PBAT Force is leveraging social media platforms and messaging channels such as WhatsApp to disseminate simplified policy content, share impact stories, and counter misinformation with fact-based communication.

Grassroots mobilisation efforts are also being strengthened through door-to-door sensitisation campaigns, voter awareness drives in line with electoral guidelines, and the deployment of ward coordinators familiar with local dynamics.

The group is further building strategic alliances with youth organisations, market associations, transport unions, and religious leaders—leveraging existing community structures to broaden its reach and influence.

Analysts note that PBAT Force’s model reflects a broader shift in Nigeria’s political engagement landscape where sustained grassroots presence, community relevance, and two-way communication are becoming central to electoral success.

Rather than relying solely on traditional campaign rhetoric, the group appears to be anchoring its identity on practical impact and inclusive participation.

As momentum builds toward future political contests, PBAT Force’s blend of cohesion-building within party structures and expansive grassroots engagement may prove pivotal in shaping the dynamics of support for President Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
