Social media commentator Geh Geh has stirred debate after asserting that Peter Obi would not defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, citing what he described as a lack of political structure.

In a video, Geh Geh argued that although Obi is widely regarded as a leader with vision, he does not appear to have a clearly defined pathway to realise it. 

He added that many Nigerians remain uncertain about Obi’s current party alignment and political base.

By contrast, the commentator commended Tinubu’s organised political machinery, pointing to early mobilisation efforts and an established grassroots network as indicators of strategic preparedness ahead of the next electoral cycle.

He said in part, “Peter Obi can never win Tinubu and I’ll give four reasons. Number one, he does not get structure. Peter Obi does not get structure. He na leader way get vision but he not get path on how to reach that vision. Many people up till now never know the political party where Peter dey.

"They don’t know if whether hin dey ADC, PDP, they don’t know the political party. While Tinubu on the other hand, you see say, him vision they very, very clear. Now election never reach o, they don’t start campaign already.

"You see all the city boy movement, structures don they on ground, people don’t they on ground, bodies, personalities. They don they empower people to do the needful thing. While Peter Obi is more of the social media type of person….”
