Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Imo State, Chief Austin Onyedebelu has inaugurated the Chairmen of the Party from the 27 LGAs of the State.
The inauguration ceremony which took place at the State Secretariat of the party on Okigwe Road, Owerri, had the State Secretary, Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim and other members of the Party's State Working Committee (SWC) in attendance.

The 27 LGA chairpersons emerged through transparent party congresses which were held across the State at the weekend and monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other relevant agencies.
The Chairman while congratulating the party stalwarts on their meritorious victory and subsequent inauguration as chairmen of the party urged them to give their best interests promoting the party's ideals in their various LGAs, reminding them that the APC is the most democratic and most progressive party in Africa.

"As chairmen of our great party in the LGAs, you are charged with the responsibility of ensuring the stability and strength of our party in your area. Be bold to promote our party and the achievements of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON, who is unarguably the best governor that Imo has had since its creation."
The LGA party chairmen through their representative praised the governor for his leadership which ensured that the party experienced the most peaceful party congress in the history of party congresses in the State.
They affirmed their loyalty to the party's Constitution and the leadership as spearheaded by Governor Uzodimma.
