Delta State University Secondary School, Abraka, in Ethiope East Local Government Area, has recorded another major academic feat at the 2025 Delta State Science Competition and Exhibition, emerging as one of the top-performing schools in the Senior Secondary category.

The competition, organised by the Delta State Government, was conducted in three stages — Local Government, Senatorial and State levels — and attracted some of the brightest young scientific minds across the state.

At the Local Government level, the school clinched both first and second positions. It went on to secure first position at the Senatorial stage, earning a place in the highly competitive state finals.
