The International President of De Norsemen Kclub International (DNKI), Chief Oliver Patrick, has called for deep reflection on the virtues of love, humility, selflessness, and values that are critical not only to personal growth but also to national development and unity.

He made the call as he extended felicitations to all Christian faithful in Nigeria and across the world as they celebrate the sacred occasion of Easter.

Patrick said Easter remains a profound season in the Christian calendar, symbolizing the ultimate sacrifice, unwavering faith, and the triumphant resurrection of Jesus Christ.

"It is a time that calls for deep reflection on the virtues of love, humility, selflessness, and redemption values that are critical not only to personal growth but also to national development and unity," he said.

In a statement by the International Publicity Secretary, Mr Darlington Anugom, he noted that the lessons of Easter are particularly relevant in today’s world, where societies are faced with diverse challenges.

He emphasized that the spirit of sacrifice and renewal exemplified by Christ should inspire Nigerians to embrace peace, tolerance, and collective responsibility in building a more just, equitable, and prosperous nation.

“As we commemorate this holy season, we are reminded that after every trial comes victory, and after every sacrifice comes glory. Nigerians must remain steadfast, hopeful, and united in the face of adversity.

"Together, we can overcome our challenges and usher in a new era of peace and progress,” he stated.

The DNKI President further called on leaders at all levels to draw inspiration from the Easter message by demonstrating selfless service, integrity, and compassion in governance.

He urged citizens to continue to support efforts aimed at strengthening national cohesion, security, and economic advancement.

While celebrating, Chief Patrick also encouraged Christians and all Nigerians to extend acts of kindness to the less privileged, promote harmony among diverse communities, and uphold the values of justice and righteousness.

"De Norsemen Kclub International remains committed to its core principles of service to humanity, promotion of moral values, and contribution to national development. The organization reiterates its dedication to fostering unity, peace, and social responsibility across Nigeria and beyond.

"As the world celebrates Easter 2026, DNKI wishes everyone a joyful, peaceful, and spiritually fulfilling celebration," he said.
