Minister of Works, David Umahi, has called on Nigerians to embrace peace, tolerance, and compassion as Christians across the country celebrate the Easter season.
In his Easter message to the Christian faithful, Umahi emphasized the significance of the season as a time of sacrifice, renewal, and hope, rooted in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He noted that the occasion serves as a reminder of the triumph of light over darkness and the enduring strength of faith even in difficult times.
The minister urged Nigerians to reflect on these values, especially at a critical point in the nation’s journey.
According to him, unity, compassion, and faith are essential in overcoming the country’s challenges and fostering national development.

The Minister encouraged citizens to support one another and work collectively toward a more peaceful and prosperous nation.
Umahi also reaffirmed his commitment to national development through infrastructure, stating that his ministry remains dedicated to projects that will improve connectivity and enhance economic growth.
He highlighted ongoing efforts under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deliver projects aimed at improving the daily lives of Nigerians.
