Veteran actress Eucharia Anunobi has recounted how she secured the iconic role of Anita in the film Glamour Girls 2 nearly three decades ago.

Speaking during a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Anunobi revealed that she got the role after attending an audition and agreeing to portray the unconventional character.

She explained that the film’s producer offered her a significant payment for the role, which she described as substantial at the time, noting that some actors today earn less than what she received for the project.

According to her, after accepting the role of Anita, the producer asked how much she wanted to be paid.

“I told him my price and expected him to negotiate, but he accepted it without any negotiation,” she said.

“I regretted not demanding more than what I demanded, though it was huge money at that time. I mean big money. The money they paid me for Glamour Girls Part 2, some people are not collecting it today. I say it, and I beat my chest,” she boasted.

The actress, however, declined to disclose the exact amount when asked by the co-host, Husband Material.
