The Renewed Hope Alive Movement (RHAM) yesterday said it has appointed coordinators in 774 Local Government Areas across the federation to enlighten Nigerians on the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

RHAM Convener, Prince Keyode Tejuoso, stated this during the unveiling of its campaign movement for the re-election of President Tinubu at Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

The event featured presentation of RHAM Logo.

Tejuoso said the movement would bridge the communication gap between the federal government, its agencies and the grassroots.

According to him, massive nationwide education of Nigerians on the impacts of the current administration’s reforms will commenced soon.

He described the group as a citizen-driving movement, saying it is committed to providing clarity through verified data and fact-based narratives.

“Unlike traditional political groups that focus on material inducements, RHAM emphasizes intellectual empowerment and civic participation,” he said.

In addition to coordinators in 774 Local Government Areas, Tejuoso, said the movement had already established 37 State Coordinators and over 8009 representatives across all wards.

To ensure the message resonates with grasroots, Tejuosh noted that RHAM will communicate in local languages, tailored to the specific preferences of each community and will utilise a synergy with the private sector to track feedback.

The Deputy National Convener, Olufemi Bashorun, said the project will commence its zonal launches in April. The rollout is scheduled to begin in the Southwest before moving to other geo-political zones.

Bashorun emphasized that the movement’s leadership is intentionally youth-dominated.

“Every state coordinator of RHAM is a youth because of the belief we have in their energy and ability to drive ideas. Many activities the President has embarked on are unknown to the public; we are taking this information to the local levels to inform people.”

Commending the initiative, Managing Director of the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC), Dr Kayode Opeifa, who officially unveiled the RHAM logo, noted that Nigeria is currently at a crossroads where public support and understanding are vital.

Opeifa praised the President for adhering to the principle of federal character and being not ethnocentric.

He urged the group to address the trust deficit by bringing the government closer to the people.

A member of South-West Development Commission, Mike Ukoha, who is also a member of the movement, said the goal is to project the projects of the federal government and its agencies.

According to him, many in the rural areas do mistake projects of federal government and its agencies for their state governments.
