Global sportswear giant Nike has officially unveiled the new home and away jerseys for Nigeria, offering fans a fresh identity despite recent on-field disappointment.

The unveiling, announced via the Super Eagles’ official X handle on Monday, comes as supporters continue to reflect on the team’s failure to qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The home kit features a striking light green base complemented by darker green panels and a subtle dotted fade pattern. It is finished with the Nigeria Football Federation crest and the iconic Nike swoosh. According to Nike, the design continues the Super Eagles’ tradition of “street-ready” aesthetics that resonate beyond football.

The away kit, meanwhile, adopts a clean white base with bold green flame-like graphics rising across the front, back, and sleeves. A dark green V-neck collar and black-trimmed cuffs complete the modern look.

Both jerseys are engineered with Nike’s Dri-FIT technology and incorporate sustainable materials, reflecting a blend of performance and environmental consciousness. The adult versions are priced at £109.99, while kids’ kits retail for £84.99.

The release coincides with preparations for an upcoming four-nation friendly tournament involving Jordan, Iran, and Costa Rica, as the Super Eagles look to regroup.

Despite boasting top talents like Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman, Nigeria missed out on qualification for the 2026 World Cup after a dramatic playoff defeat to DR Congo.

The new kits now offer a symbolic reset as the team looks ahead to future competitions.
