Ogun APC consensus candidate will drive harmony, stability, says Showunmi

The Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN) has hailed the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun state for adopting a consensus approach in its political arrangements.

It described the move as a sign of unity, maturity, and strategic leadership.

In a statement by the chairman of the Association, Comrade Kayode Showunmi, ACOMORAN praised the leadership of the party for prioritising peace and cohesion over internal rivalry.

The group noted that the consensus agreement reflects a shared commitment to stability and progress within the party, which ultimately benefits the people and Nigeria at large.

The chairman applauded the emergence of Senator Olamilekan Adeola as a product of the arrangement.

According to ACOMORAN, Senator Adeola’s emergence is well-deserved, considering his track record of service, grassroots connection, and dedication to good governance and his progressive antecedent.

Comrade Showunmi expressed confidence that Senator Adeola’s leadership will bring renewed energy and purposeful direction to the party, while also strengthening its chances in future political contests.

The group added that his experience in legislative matters and his commitment to development make him a suitable choice for the responsibility ahead.

The association appreciate Governor Dapo Abiodun and other stakeholders for ensuring seamless transition that produce the consensus candidate, urging party members and stakeholders to rally behind the consensus decision.

He emphasised that unity remains the key to sustainable political success, calling on the people of the State to continue supporting leaders who demonstrate capacity and a genuine interest in public service.

The ACOMORAN leadership reaffirmed its support for the APC in Ogun State and congratulated Senator Adeola on his emergence, expressing optimism for a more inclusive and progressive political landscape in the state.
