Ziphion Chrysanthus has pledged to reposition his constituency through a focus on socio-economic development, effective governance, and community-driven representation.
This came as he obtained the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to contest for the Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam Federal Constituency seat in Plateau State.
A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chrysanthus is seeking election into the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections, a move seen as part of the early political alignments in the state.
In a statement, he described his ambition as a continuation of his long-standing commitment to public service, expressing readiness to deliver what he termed “the leadership required to propel our dear constituency to its rightful place.”
Chrysanthus, known for his engagement in governance and policy advocacy, previously served in public office, including as a liaison director for security agencies in Plateau State, where he contributed to discussions on national security reforms and governance structures.
His declaration adds to the growing list of aspirants positioning themselves ahead of what is expected to be a keenly contested 2027 election cycle.
He ended his announcement on a note of optimism and faith, stating, “God is our help,” signalling both personal conviction and a call for collective support as he begins his campaign journey.
