It was a show of socio-cultural heritage and traditional elegance as the wife of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Queen (Barr.) Rashidat Olayinka Ladoja, on Saturday graced the 60th birthday and installation ceremony of the wife of former Ogun state governor, Mrs. Olufunsho Amosun, as the Yeye Moremi Oodua in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
Ladoja's wife joined other eminent dignitaries across the country and overseas to witness the colourful traditional installation performed by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, at his palace.
The Olubadan’s wife, who was warmly received by the Ooni’s wife, Olori Afolashade Ashley Ogunwusi, dazzled in an outfit that perfectly blended elegance with tradition, reflecting the richness of royal heritage and class.

While extending her heartfelt congratulations to the celebrant, Queen Ladoja prayed for the celebrant continued growth so as to contribute more to the society, as she assumes her new role as the Yeye Moremi Oodua.
She urged the celebrant to remained dedicated to the development of Ile-Ife, Yorubaland, and Nigeria as a whole, noting that the confidence reposed in her Ooni, and others must always be upheld.
Notable personalities, who also graced the occasion rejoiced with the family of the former Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and his Wife, Yeye Moremi Oodua, Chief Olufunsho Amosun.
The title of Yeye Moremi is deeply symbolic in the history of Yoruba race, honoring the remarkable roles of a renowned Queen Moremi Ajasoro, for her bravery and sacrifice in saving Ile-Ife from invaders.
