American rapper Offset is in stable condition in the hospital after he was shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on Monday evening.
The former member of the Atlanta hip-hop trio Migos, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was shot in the valet area of the casino.
His spokesperson reportedly confirmed that the 34-year-old is receiving medical care and “is stable and being closely monitored."
The Seminole Police Department reported that a person sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the incident.
Two individuals have been detained in connection with the shooting, and authorities say the site is secure with no ongoing threat to the public.
This marks another tragic chapter for the Migos collective.
In 2022, Offset’s bandmate Takeoff was fatally shot at age 28 outside a bowling alley in Houston.
The circumstances leading to Monday’s shooting have not been publicly disclosed.
Offset was formerly married to Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B but the union ended in 2024, following a secret wedding in September 2017.
The couple, who share three children, parted ways when Cardi B filed for divorce.
