To consolidate support and ensure a resounding victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, a support group under the auspices of the Ondo APC Elders Movement for Tinubu in Ondo State held a crucial meeting with local government coordinators across the state's 18 local government areas.

The movement is sponsored by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the personification of the Renewed Agenda of Ondo State.

The meeting, which focused on devising effective strategies to deliver massive votes for the President, aimed at mobilising the grassroots and achieving overwhelming support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.

Coordinators from all local governments were present to align on actionable plans, including intensified voter education, registration drives, and community outreach programmes.

The session was chaired by the State Coordinator of the APC Elders Movement for Tinubu, Otunba Agboola Kelly, who declared that Tinubu’s re-election is a task that must be accomplished by everyone, irrespective of political leaning.

Otunba Kelly emphasised that President Tinubu remains the best bet for the nation due to his visionary leadership, ongoing economic reforms, infrastructure development, and commitment to repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth and global competitiveness.

He urged all coordinators to work tirelessly, transcending party lines where necessary, to galvanise support and deliver 100% votes for the President in their respective local government areas.

The elders’ movement highlighted President Tinubu’s transformative policies, particularly in security, agriculture, and human capital development, as reasons why his continued leadership is critical for Nigeria’s progress.

They expressed confidence that with proper coordination and mobilisation, Ondo State would play a pivotal role in securing a landslide victory for the President in the South-West.

This meeting underscores the determination of APC elders in Ondo State to build a formidable structure ahead of the 2027 polls, ensuring that the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration is sustained and deepened for the benefit of all Nigerians

The coordinators resolved to immediately begin ward-level sensitisation and stakeholder engagements to mobilise broad-based support across the state.
