According to her, Ogun APC has demonstrated political maturity by rallying behind a candidate with proven grassroots appeal and wide acceptance across the state.

She described Adeola as “a candidate to beat,” noting that his political influence has continued to attract widespread support, even from individuals across party lines.

She emphasised that Adeola's political journey and strategic engagements across Ogun’s three senatorial districts have positioned him as a unifying figure.

Talabi further praised Adeola as a refined and modern politician whose experience reflects the ideals of progressive politics.

"He has shown, through his actions and engagements, that he understands the dynamics of leadership and governance. His movement across all corners of Ogun State, extending gestures of goodwill and inclusiveness, speaks volumes about his readiness to lead," he said.

Talabi, who expressed confidence in Adeola's candidacy, stated that Adeola possesses vision, competence, and innovative ideas required to drive economic growth and improve the welfare of Ogun citizens.

She described Governor Abiodun as a true progressive who places party ideology above personal interests.

She noted that Abiodun's commitment to unity and internal democracy played a key role in producing a consensus candidate that reflects the collective will of the party.

She added that if Adeola emerges victorious in the forthcoming gubernatorial election, Abiodun would make history as one of the few governors to successfully produce a widely accepted successor in line with party consensus

“I am proud of the leadership demonstrated by our party leaders and particularly Governor Abiodun, whose dedication to the APC’s ideals has once again strengthened the party’s structure in Ogun State" he said.

The APC USA scribe reaffirmed commitment to the party’s growth and expressed optimism that Ogun State is on course for greater development under continued progressive leadership.
