The All Progressives Congress {APC), in Taraba State has adopted the consensus method in producing the ward, local, zonal and state executive members.
The state Chairman of the party, Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi, made this known in a statement.
He said the decision was made at the State Working Committee (SWC) meeting of February 12, this year.

The statement read: “That the party in Taraba State under the leadership of the governor, should adopt the method of consensus for nominating our party ward executive, local government party executives, state party executives and all status of delegates in consonance with Section 84 (2) of the Electoral Act, 2022.
“That stakeholders of the parties are enjoined to go back to their various wards and local governments and consult with party members to produce consensus list of party executives and delegates.”
The statement added that stakeholders should restrict activities to their wards and local governments.
The local government committees, according to the statement, shall be headed by council chairmen, while the zonal committee shall be headed by Governor Agbu Kefas.
