All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain  Moses Olarewaju (M0) has unfolded his ambition to represent Amuwo-Odofin Constituency in the House of Representatives.

He said he has been adopted by stakeholders, including party leaders, religious and community leaders, women and youths.

At a press conference in Lagos, he said, "I want to be your humble servant. I want to go to Abuja what is due to you. I am not looking for office to get money so that I can build houses in Banana Island. I want Amuwo-Odofin to become a Banana Island."

He thanked the stakeholders from Amuwo-Odofin and Oriade Councils who have endorsed his bid for the House of Representatives.

Olarewaju, a graduate of University of Jos, and a businessman, said that have been born and lived in Amuwo-Odofin, he full understands its challenges of development.

He recalled the congestion at the ports, which spilled over to Amuwo-Odofin through the menace of parked trailers and containers, crippled business activities in Amuwo-Odofin, including hotels, markets and even the trade fairs.

He lamented the incidence of capsized boats that led to loss of lives and the awful infrastructural picture of Festac town.

Olarewaju said instead of complaining like others, he has been at the forefront of problem-solving.

He said he has demonstrated love for his people through communuty work as chairman of Golden Tulip Residents Association.

The aspirant recalled that FESTAC was at a point more popular than Ikoyi and Victoria Island, adding that the glory should be restored.

He lamented that the constituency is not well represented in the House of Representatives, pointing out that the voice of its lawmaker is never heard.
