During the visit, Taiwo held interactive discussions, reassuring the communities of his administration’s dedication to quality service delivery, adherence to construction standards, and timely completion of the projects.
He explained that the works will include durable road construction, dual-side drainage systems to manage floodwater, and solar-powered streetlights to improve safety, visibility, and night-time economic activities.
Building on the community-driven approach, the chairman appealed to residents to cooperate fully with the contractors on site. He emphasised the importance of peaceful coexistence, community ownership, and collective responsibility, urging residents to support the construction process, safeguarding materials and equipment, and promptly report any suspicious activities.

He noted that such collaboration will not only prevent delays but also ensure that the projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Taiwo thanked the people of Ejigbo for their unwavering support and trust since the inception of his administration.
He observed that the continued encouragement of residents motivates the council to remain focused on its developmental roadmap. In the same breath, he reminded residents to demonstrate civic responsibility by paying their rates and levies into official government coffers, warning against unauthorized revenue collectors whose activities undermine sustainable development.
